Philex Mining Corporation (PSE: PX) is a Philippine-listed, large-scale exploration and mining company.
Both figures are quoted verbatim from the standard footnote carried on Philex press releases distributed by First Pacific: Philex is a company 'in which First Pacific Group holds an economic interest of approximately 31.2%', and 'Two Rivers Pacific Holdings Corporation, a Philippine affiliate of First Pacific, holds an additional 15.0% economic interest in Philex.' These are stated as economic interests, not voting stakes, and the two are disclosed separately rather than summed by the source β they are recorded separately here for the same reason. Philex remains listed in its own right (PSE: PX). No parent_slug is set because no First Pacific dossier exists in this corpus.
Named counterparties identified by open-source research and written only where a primary source states the relationship β never inferred from sector or co-mention. 2 customer-side. This is a partial view: it covers the relationships we could evidence, not the company's full supply base.
Philex SEC Form 17-A (FY2025), Product, Distribution and Customers. The Padcal Mine (Tuba, Benguet, Philippines) produces copper concentrates containing copper, gold and silver. 'For the contract year April 2023 to March 2024, IXM won the bidding with 60% of the shipments allocated for delivery to Pan Pacific', which the filing describes as the Japanese smelting and refining company of JX Nippon Mining and Metals and Mitsui Mining and Smelting (smelter at Saganoseki, Oita, Japan). IXM S.A. was the contracting buyer; the filing itself pins delivery to Pan Pacific in Japan. No tonnage per buyer is given beyond the 60% share. From the June 2024 to June 2025 contract year IXM shipments went to China instead, so this is the most recent Japan-bound Padcal sale.
Same 17-A passage: for the April 2023 to March 2024 contract year IXM won the bidding with '60% of the shipments allocated for delivery to Pan Pacific and the remaining 40% to L.S. Nikko of South Korea'. Padcal mine in Benguet, Philippines; LS-Nikko (now LS MnM) smelts at Onsan, Ulsan, Korea. IXM S.A. was the contracting buyer; delivery point stated by the filing. The filing also says Hartree Metals shipments for June 2024 to June 2025 (10,000 DMT) were for delivery to Onsan, without naming the smelter company.
Scope. Absence of a counterparty here is not evidence that none exists β most commercial sourcing is confidential and never becomes public. Rows without a share figure mean no share was disclosed, not that the relationship is small.
This company sits on the supply side for 2 of its 2 materials β a restriction on those is a tailwind, not a headwind.
As a producer, policy pressure across its produced materials is flat.
Descriptive trend in official policy actions on this companyβs materials β a policy-pressure trend, not a price or trading signal. No forward probability is implied. Direction is measured on actions we have discovered, and discovery lags events: where the recent window is too thin to support a calm reading, the row says coverage-limited instead of easing.
π΅π PH accounts for 100% of severity-weighted pressure.
