Livium Limited (ASX: LIT, HQ Derrimut, Victoria) is an Australian battery materials and recycling group operating three linked segments: Battery Recycling, run through its Envirostream Australia subsidiary, which shreds and washes end-of-life lithium-ion and mixed-chemistry batteries at an EPA-licensed Melbourne facility (~3,000 t/year capacity) to recover copper, aluminium, steel and a lithium/cobalt/nickel/manganese-bearing "mixed metal dust" (black mass); Lithium Chemicals, its LieNA/SiLeach technology for extracting lithium from spodumene and lepidolite (mica) mining waste, developed with ANSTO; and Battery Materials, which manufactures LFP/LMFP cathode powder, positioning Livium as one of the few non-Chinese producers of that cathode chemistry.
Named counterparties identified by open-source research and written only where a primary source states the relationship — never inferred from sector or co-mention. 1 customer-side. This is a partial view: it covers the relationships we could evidence, not the company's full supply base.
Three-year off-take agreement effective 1 July 2024 through 30 June 2027; SungEel HiTech to purchase a minimum 60% of Envirostream's annual MMD output, subject to quality specifications. Route: Envirostream's Victorian (Melbourne) recycling plant ships the MMD (cobalt, nickel, lithium, graphite) to SungEel HiTech in South Korea, per the 2019 exclusive-supply MoU ('out of Australia' to SungEel, investingnews.com 2019-11-06) and the first-shipment report (smallcaps.com.au); the 2024 offtake continues that supply. One material per row: cobalt chosen, nickel and lithium also contained.
Scope. Absence of a counterparty here is not evidence that none exists — most commercial sourcing is confidential and never becomes public. Rows without a share figure mean no share was disclosed, not that the relationship is small.
This company sits on the supply side for 6 of its 6 materials — a restriction on those is a tailwind, not a headwind.
As a producer, policy pressure across its produced materials is flat.
Descriptive trend in official policy actions on this company’s materials — a policy-pressure trend, not a price or trading signal. No forward probability is implied. Direction is measured on actions we have discovered, and discovery lags events: where the recent window is too thin to support a calm reading, the row says coverage-limited instead of easing.
