ASML is the only commercial supplier of extreme-ultraviolet (EUV) lithography systems and the dominant supplier of high-end deep- ultraviolet (DUV) immersion systems used at every leading-edge logic, DRAM and advanced-NAND node worldwide.
No controlling corporate parent (GLEIF LEI 724500Y6DUVHQD6OXN27 reports parent_reported: false; ASML Holding N.V. is independently listed on Euronext Amsterdam / Nasdaq ADR). Widely-held, no single holder above ~9%; no strategic/state anchor shareholder is disclosed in the GLEIF record.
Named counterparties identified by open-source research and written only where a primary source states the relationship — never inferred from sector or co-mention. 1 customer-side. This is a partial view: it covers the relationships we could evidence, not the company's full supply base.
ASML/TSMC joint press release (2026-09-08): TSMC intends to use ASML's High-NA EUV technology in high-volume manufacturing for advanced nodes starting in 2030, and the two companies announced a joint initiative to transition to 12-inch photomasks for High-NA EUV (pilot line targeted 2031, advanced-node production 2033). TSMC and Samsung were reported in contemporaneous press coverage as the second and third High-NA EUV adopters after Intel, but this press release itself names only TSMC -- Samsung's commitment is not independently confirmed to this primary source, so no Samsung row was added.
Scope. Absence of a counterparty here is not evidence that none exists — most commercial sourcing is confidential and never becomes public. Rows without a share figure mean no share was disclosed, not that the relationship is small.
2 other tracked dossiers name this company as a counterparty in its own sourced disclosure — this platform never wrote these rows on this company's own page, they are read here inverted from the dossier that disclosed them. This is a partial view: 982 additional named-counterparty rows across the corpus could not be matched to a tracked dossier by name at all (mostly non-Latin legal names), so the true count is higher than what renders here.
ASML's own annual report states it is Zeiss SMT's single customer and Zeiss SMT is its single supplier of optical columns. Related party in both directions: ASML holds 24.9% of Carl Zeiss SMT Holding. ASML purchases from Zeiss SMT and its subsidiaries: EUR 3.33bn (2023), EUR 3.95bn (2024), EUR 4.41bn (2025).
TRUMPF is the sole supplier of the CO2 drive laser inside ASML's EUV light source. ASML awarded TRUMPF its Supplier Award in the Technology category on 2025-10-24 for the 'first light' of a new EUV high-energy laser, with series production scheduled from 2026. Unlike Zeiss SMT there is no cross-shareholding — the dependence is contractual and technical only.
Scope. This section is inverted evidence: each linked dossier wrote the original row about itself, describing its own relationship to this company. It is never a claim this company itself disclosed. Absence here is not evidence of no relationship — most of the corpus has no named-counterparty block at all yet.
Every exposure is read as a buyer dependency; the top 3 are its binding chokepoints.
Dossier discloses a neodymium exposure with no Dy/Tb/Sm tag and a sector where doping is not the rule — whether this company's magnets are Dy/Tb-doped is not on record. Resolved by a disclosed magnet grade, or a named magnet supplier in named_counterparties.
A61's suspension (Announcement 70) lapses 10 Nov 2026 — on the plain text, controls revive automatically. The US DoD CN/RU/IR/KP sourcing bar follows 1 Jan 2027. See the underlying extraterritorial export-control action. We supply the provenance file; we never compute your ratio for you.
As a buyer, policy pressure across its consumed materials is rising.
Descriptive trend in official policy actions on this company’s materials — a policy-pressure trend, not a price or trading signal. No forward probability is implied. Direction is measured on actions we have discovered, and discovery lags events: where the recent window is too thin to support a calm reading, the row says coverage-limited instead of easing.
